Infrared Series

A few years ago Bill discovered that digital cameras are highly sensitive to infrared light. They’re so sensitive, in fact, that manufacturers place an infrared-blocking filter in front of the sensor. A quick Google search lead him to a company that would swap the IR filter on one of his Nikon digital cameras for one that passes infrared light but blocks visible light.

While virtually any photo taken in infrared will look different, Bill looks for compositions that take it to a higher level of "different."  These creative “experiments” nourish and inform his professional work.
