Product Photography
Most of our work involves people and the human condition, but occasionally we are asked to shoot products. A few years ago we shot a wedding-themed catalog for Walmart. We had toasters, crockpots and vacuums everywhere. At the end of the project we looked like the returns department at Macy’s. Most of the stuff was not returnable so we gave it all away to friends. For about a week there was a steady stream of cars pulling up to the studio dock, loading appliances into trunks. The neighbors thought we were running a fencing operation.
